1,5-Anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG) Chemiluminescent Immunoassay (CLIA) Kit is a Competitive Chemiluminescent Immunoassay (CLIA) Kit for use with Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Introduction	1,5-Anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG) is a six-carbon monosaccharide with no hydroxyl group on carbon-1. Its concentration in blood decreases in response to high blood glucose. 1,5-AG recovers over time and is sometimes used as a biomarker of hyperglycaemia episodes in recent weeks. This monosaccharide serves no known biological function in humans and is hard to metabolise, so it is frequently excreted into the urine.
