Short Description:	ASXL3 Blocking Peptide is synthetically produced from the 350-410 sequence and is suitable for use in western blot applications.

Formulation:	Liquid form at 2.5mg/ml concentration in PBS. Up to 5% DMSO can be added. Orders with >1mg can be supplied in lyophilized powder form, or in buffer of choice.
Storage Instruction:	Store at-20°C for long term storage. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Function	Putative Polycomb group (PcG) protein. PcG proteins act by forming multiprotein complexes, which are required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of homeotic genes throughout development. PcG proteins are not required to initiate repression, but to maintain it during later stages of development. They probably act via methylation of histones, rendering chromatin heritably changed in its expressibility.
